I wouldn’t expect the Devils to forfeit the first rounder this year — not unless they absolutely hate the first round talent. You’d have to think they at least want to make a first-round pick in the draft they’re hosting.

Despite sometimes being on a difficult channel to find, the Devils are doing splendidly on local television thus far this season. It’s an impressive feat considering the lockout, but just does to show that this team has a dedicated fan base that sometimes gets overlooked because of ownership’s financial restraints.
