Devils coach Pete DeBoer told reports today that Adam Larsson earned the right to stay in lineup for Game 3 after his perfromance in Game 2.
Larsson logged 13:15 of ice time, scored the game-tying goal, lead the game with five hits and was a +2 rating on the night.
David Clarkson told reports after yesterday’s game that he was excited the same way Larsson was. Zach Parise said everyone was happy for Larsson.
Larsson also became the second defenseman in Devils history to score a goal in his playoff debut, writes Rich Chere of Star Ledger. The first was Craig Wolanin.
DeBoer told reporters today he cant take Larsson out of the lineup beacuse he gave the team good minutes, played well and physical.
