Adam Larsson’s big night leads to a big spark

Adam Larsson’s game-tying goal was what the Devils needed to break the ice and finally get on the scoreboard.

After Larsson’s goal, the Devils added three more goals to capture a 4-1 win and even out the series heading back home.

In 13:15 of ice time, Larsson also led the game with five hits, while posting a plus-two rating and taking two shots.

“Everyone was so happy for him. He’s worked really hard. He hasn’t been in the lineup and that can be frustrating for a young player, but he’s worked hard,” Zach Parise told Tom Gulitti of Fire and Ice.

“I think I was as excited as he was,” David Clarkson told Gulitti.

Its going to be interesting what Pete DeBoer decides to do when Ilya Kovalchuk returns.  Peter Harrold also played a good game.
