Bernier won’t face any discipline for hit on Scuderi

At CBS Sports hockey blog, Adam Gretz writes that Steve Bernier won’t face any additional discipline from the league next season for boarding hit on Rob Scuderi in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

I was told the department of player safety deemed the penalty on the ice to be sufficient and there will be no supplemental discipline.

Bernier was ejected and given a five-minute major penalty, which the Kings scored three times.
