Janssen, Boulton nominated for “Fight of the Year”

Over at HockeyFights.com, two Devils’ players were nominated into the category of “Fight of the Year”.

First, Cam Janssen’s fight with Micheal Haley of the New York Islanders from November 25, and then, Eric Boulton’s fight with Chris Neil of the Ottawa Senators from January 2.

In other categories, Ilya Kovalchuk was nominated for “TKO or KO of the Year” for his TKO on Brayden Schenn of the Philadelphia Flyers. In the same category, Eric Boulton was nominated for his TKO on Douglas Murray of the San Jose Sharks.

Also,  Eric Boulton and Cam Janssesn were nominated into the People’s Choice Award for “Your Favorite Fighter”.

The Devils as a team were nominated in to the “Best Team Feud” for their feud with the New York Rangers. The Devils were also nominated into “Old School Moment of the Year” for their part in the Rangers-Devils brawl off the opening face-off.

David Clarkson was nominated into “Most Skilled Forward Fighter” and “Best Player Feud” with Brandon Dubinsky of the Rangers.

Janssen also go the call into the “Most Exciting Fighter”.
