Morning Skate: DeBoer mixes line combinations

With Ilya Kovalchuk missing tonight’s Game 2, Devils coach Pete DeBoer decided to mix up line combinations during today’s morning camp.

Rich Chere of Star Ledger writes that Patrik Elias centered Zach Parise and David Clarkson. Meanwhile, Travis Zajac was in between Petr Sykora and Dainius Zubrus.

Peter Harrold, who played defense all eight games of this year’s playoffs, was moved to the fourth line and played right wing by Ryan Carter and Stephen Gionta.

The third line was made up of Alexei Ponikarovsky, Adam Henrique and Steve Bernier.
