The Flyers are frustrated

After beating up the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round and having several days off, the Philadelphia Flyers expected an easier second round after the Devils struggled and had to play seven games to take out the Florida Panthers. However, they were wrong, and now frustrated, they are paying the price, writes Rich Chere of Star Ledger.

I think everyone’s frustrated. I know me personally, I’m frustrated. You can tell with (Giroux) that he wants to make something happen every time he’s on the ice and I think we all know that’s basically impossible,

-Scott Hartnell speaking to media on Friday

Hartnell said he didn’t expect the Flyers winning four straight, but he didn’t think that the Devils will come this strong and hard. He thinks that maybe the week off is affecting their play.

Knowing the Flyers and Peter Laviolette, I expect the Flyers will play their best game of the series on Sunday. It will all depend which Ilya Bryzgalov shows up. The one that was perfect against the Devils during the regular season or the one that has allowed 31 goals in the playoffs, more than any other goalie. As for the Devils, they will need to do what they have done so far.
