Ilya Kovalchuk had a fight in today’s afternoon game against the Philadelphia Flyers. Kovalchuk clearly won the fight with the final punch on Brayden Schenn’s face. Definitely watch this.
Ilya Kovalchuk had his first Gordie Howe Hat Trick (a fight, a goal and an assist) this afternoon in the Devils’ 6-4 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers. Kovalchuk had a really nice shot on Brayden Schenn’s face in the fight and was the clear cut victor in the fight. Kovalchuk was reacting to when Parise was slewfooted in the 2nd period. Good to see an emotional Kovalchuk.
